During my first year of teaching 4th grade, I had incidentally bought this book at a "Scholastic Book Fair" at our school. Having read the "teaser" on the back of the book, I began reading this book as a daily "read-a-loud" to my students. We absolutely loved it and they couldn't wait to read each new chapter. My students, both boys and girls related to the colorful characters. My girls especially loved the slow but sure transformation the shy May Bird underwent as she unwittingly explores the "Ever After."
A few of my students transferred to another school during this school year, and I made sure to send them off with their very own (signed by all) copy of May Bird, books one and two.
Word spread around about this book in our small school and soon siblings and friends in other classes were asking about this book. This year my new class of 4th grade students are already familiar with the story and are begging me to start reading it as a daily read-a-loud.
This is truly a well written and creative story that children will enjoy and remember for a long time!

I purchased this book after reading the first one in the series.This book does not disappoint,it draws you in just as the first one did.It is good series to read if you are an avid reader,such as myself.There is a third book in the series as well May BirdWarrior Princess,the final in the series.If you are young or young at heart,check out this series!
I bought book one for my daughter at a Goodwill store because I liked the cover. Once she picked up the book and read it to me, I couldn't put it down. As soon as I finished book one, I immediately ordered books two and three. Loved every page of the series. The book's condition was understated...it was in excellent condition. Very pleased.
My ten year old daughter actually bought this book with her Christmas money and loves reading this series! She is a huge fan of this offer and was happy that they shipped out so fast. She loves this author!
The shipment was a little slow but the delivery was okay.The book keep it's charm easy to read and things for May are going to get more complicated.
A great read! I bought this when I was in 6th grade in a Scholastics Book Fair and have been searching for it again for years!
Thankfully I finally remembered the name and purchased all three books used in very good condition. I did recieve a tracking item with this purchase and I do recomend this book for those with an enjoyment of occult.

It has mild cliches but it's nothing over done where as it's unbearable to read. I love this book and I can't wait to finish it.

I bought this book "May Bird Among The Stars" for my granddaughter as she was reading this series. I asked her how she liked it and she said it was great and very interesting. She has been collecting the series with each allowance she has earned. When I asked her why she did not buy something else with her money, she said that these books are by far a better deal. She has gone on to have us get her different ones in the series for her birthday and for those just because you deserve a treat day. This was the most interesting one by far she said.
